"I had taken 2 prior wake surf lessons on Lake Tahoe and I was never able to drop the tow rope. Jay had me up and off the rope immediately. He has a great boat (Air Nautique G23) that thrusts a great wave. He is excellent instructor and in his 1st lesson had me working on 360s front and revert, and revert surfing. Really fun and I did more than I ever thought I would for a novice. Unbelievable. I cant wait to go back."

We plan to schedule additional time at Lake Gaston behind Jay's boat and hopefully more back at the River."

Outstanding instruction, set to the right level (my buddy and I are a little different in skill, size, etc - and my lack of it was well accomodated!) "We spent three hours with Brian and Jay this past Saturday. We had a blast. We split up the time, half on our 21 foot Supra Launch, and half the time on their 24 foot Enzo. I am an intermediate rider looking to be able to land some more tricks (aerials and 360s). Brian was able to show me some critical mistakes of my setup that wasnt allowing me to get air off the wave and was causing me to wash out of the 360s. Those tips alone were worth the price of admission. The depressing thing about the trip is that it likely has cost us a lot of money-- the wave their boat puts out is so insane, we were talking to the dealership that afternoon about trading our boat in to get what they have ;) Definitely give this crew a chance to improve your riding. They are VERY fairly priced, given the price of gas alone in a boat their size, and especially along with a pro rider giving advice and tips. Highly recommended."

He's extremely knowledgeable, has great boards to try out and his boat is always in great shape. He has taught countless numbers of my friends to surf. He has also helped me optimize the wake on my surf boat.
